ReplyDeleteI would like to cast a character about Anna Fang because I think she has the coolest character trait in the book/movie. I would like her to have dark brown eyes with smooth black hair and tanned skin. I think she would have a slim but strong build. I think she should have a look of intelligence and focus in her eyes. Her face should be cool when relaxed or can and can be smiling when happy or scary when mad. She should move light and swift from her years of working.
If I were to meet her then I would like to be friends with her because she is kind and care for people. I think she can have some humor but not lots since she is always focused and aware. I think she can have a lot of temperaments, but the ones that she mostly have are friendly, strong minded and scary when she’s mad!
I would choose Halle Berry for Anna Fang because she’s in lots of movies that’s similar to Mortal Engines and also played similar roles!

Hester Shaw's appearance: I think her eyes would be the color greyish blue. Her height is not explained in the wiki whatsoever. Her build is kinda slim-medium and her eyes: One hawkish, one scarred (gone). Her face is mostly alert Probably how she moves: Graceful and athletically.

ReplyDeleteI chose Tom Natsworthy because I think I know how to describe him the best. I think he would be 5 feet and 10 inches, his hair would be light brown, his eyes would be light blue and have sort of tan skin. I think he would be slim but be a little bit muscular, he would have curious eyes and he would have a sometimes sad face and sometimes happy face. I think they would move gracefully and athletically.
I would like to be friends with Tom because he is kind and sweet and he cares about others and puts his friends first. He is really kind and he would probably have a good sense of humor too! He would try to cheer you up when you are sad and make you laugh just for the fun of it. I think he would be upbeat and lighthearted and he wouldn’t be shy at all just like when he wasn’t shy with Hester.
I think I would cast Josh Hutcherson, who was Peeta Mellark in the best movie series ever (And book series) The Hunger Games!I chose him because Peeta went into the Hunger Games and he was sort of weak without Katniss but he was strong and he put his friends first and he looks like Tom.

He has a feather of a peacock in his hat and he as leather gloves. His eyes are brave when in front of the lord mayor and daughter, but he is scared with a hint of weakness.

ReplyDeleteI think she might be like a shorter person to me because by how i imagine her in my head, I picture a short girl with beautiful brown hair, with peachy-white skin tone and really stunning bright brown eyes. She is one of the girls that's just average weight. When you look into her eyes there is this just little sparkle in her vibrant blue eyes that makes you just so happy. For a first glance her face is kinda hard to read but once you know her she will just look so upbeat and hyper. When she walks, she looks like confident happy person, but sometimes she walks slouchy, sad and depressed when something goes wrong.
I would like to be friends with her because she seems like a very kind person. She also seems funny sweet and really fun to hang around. She seems to have a little sense of humor but normally serious though. She is quite serious person but upbeat at the same time!
For my character I would choose Abu Kareem because she looks like a serious character and looks extremely serious and she is a funny person

ReplyDeleteYes I would be friends with Hester because she seems to know what she's doing, takes control and is responsible. Hester has a sense of humor but doesn't show it. I think she wouldn't show her humor because people would think she is very serious about everything. She has a bit of a temper. Most of the time she's serious but she can be kind.

I think Thaddeus Valentine is a about 5”9 has no hair, brownish eyes and has tan skin. I picture him to be a smaller muscular guy that looks violent because he kills people without mercy. I believe he looks like he is alert but tough. In the book he seems like he would move gracefully and athletically.

I think he would be a guy who wouldn't get offended easily because he's the lord mayor. You couldn't be a Mayer and let every little thing hurt your feelings cause there is always gonna be someone not happy with you if your the Mayer.
The character that I chose is Hester Shaw because she shows me that women or girls should not be expected to be weaker or less than boys. We are all humans. She has steely, threatening blue eyes and her scars on her once beautiful face are companioned by dark memories. She lurks around and always has precaution with her surroundings. She is slim and sneaky when necessary. She has lush light brown hair and pale, scarred skin along with a velvety robe over her damaged face. I don’t know her exact height but she could be in between 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 8.
ReplyDeleteI would like to be friends with this ambitious character because she is extremely brave and is not afraid of almost anything except really any harm to Tom or anyone else she loves or is extremely close to. I think she acts this way because she already lost her parents at a young age and I don’t think that she would like to suffer the grief and pain all over again.I highly doubt that Hester has a sense of humor because ever since she met Tom, from the start she has been stiff and very, very serious. If I cracked a joke, I don’t think she would have a humorous reaction and I highly doubt that she would think that I am funny either. I think that she would just start a different sentence or simply ignore me. Hester’s personality is at time sympathetic when Tom is around. She can be brave and serious , dark and stealthy as well. She is my favorite character!!! <3

I would choose Anna Fang because she is one of the main characters in the book. In my opinion she would have light brown hair and a darker skin complexion with hazel eyes. Anna could have a medium build and determination in her eyes. Her face would always be on alert but only show it in dangerous situations. Because she should be athletic I believe that she could move swiftly and at a high-speed.

She has a big heart and cares for people. I would have to be aware when I am around her remembering that she can be harmful.

I don’t think she has a sense of humor because in the book she never made a joke and she always sounded angry or annoyed. I think Hester is serious all the time because she doesn’t joke around. I also think that she is easily offended and self conscious because of the scars on her face. I also think she is stubborn and doesn’t want other people’s help.
I would cast Jennifer Lawrence to play this character because she already has brownish-black hair and blue eyes. She has played in other action movies and I think she would be the right person.

I imagine Magnus Crome to be a pretty tall and intimidating person, about 6”2. I think he’s about 54 years old. He is obviously bald, as engineers are supposed to be, his eyes are a hot brownish hazel which look yellow from afar, as hot being flaming, showing potential danger if not tamed, and his skin is a bleached whitish skin. His build is very slim, like a stick, hidden by a big white robe wide for him. (maybe Crome’s a bit famished…) His eyes are like a snakes, with freezing slits that show his everlasting disappointment in himself that he could do better, and his high ambitions for London. I usually imagine Crome usually having a judgmental look on him, mostly angry yet with many wrinkles and bags around his eyes to show that even though he’s a terrible person, he still has to take care of London (kind of). He most likely moves grand, with pride during a capture, feet “gracefully” moving, and when something terrible happens, I think he moves a bit hunchbacked, feet stomping the ground, easily angered.
PERSONALITY:
Okay. Friends with Magnus Crome? Think about that for a second. First of all, I wouldn’t want to be friends with him because he is most likely boring to hang out with, always doing business, and plus, he’s a Tractionist! Magnus Crome, while having a small sense of humour that only intellectual adult will have, doesn’t have one that’ll crack anybody. It’s mostly Traction jokes that relate to the work he’s doing right now, and I would be able to laugh with them and at them IF I understood them. Magnus Crome is a calm, cool, collected person, usually optimistic about his plans, but easily angered from all his stress. Very Serious!

ReplyDeleteI picture Valentine as a tall man with light brown hair. He has gray eyes with heavily tanned skin from his long lasting adventures. He has a slim but muscular build. His face is scared but he keeps it composed to a confident, proud look in front of people. He walks with light steps and is always on his toes.
I would like to be friends with him because he has good stories and perks that most people don't have. I think he would have a sense of humour that only people close to him would understand. I think he is upbeat and lighthearted but also has a dark side. His dark side kills people and steals things. I don't think he is easily offended unless he knows you well and are good friends.
