Grike once saved Hester after Valentine had tried to kill her. Magnus Chrome, Lord Mayor of London, has promised Grike his "heart's desire" if he hunts down and kills Hester.

I think Grikes heart desire in my opinion is that he can get his dolls back that he always collects and to see Hester on last time before she dies at his hands.

1)I think that Grikes "heart's desire" is getting his prized collection back.Remember, he sold it in order to travel to find Hester and Tom and im pretty sure he wasn’t very willing to do that either.

1 I think Grikes heart's desire is to die because he has probably already lived a full life and he has been chasing Hester for so long he has given up. He can't die of old age he can't die of being crushed he can't be cut, London probably has a bomb attached to him that can only be activated by Magnus Chrome.

ReplyDeleteI think Grike’s heart desire is becoming a human again. The reason why I think that is because he is a stalker, in other words, a robot and he wants to be a human and not a killer.
I think Grike is proud because he raised Hester when she was hurt and almost dead. I think Grike thinks of Hester as a sort of daughter figure since he helped her and took her in to live with him so he let her get a head start but he was still wanting to kill her.

I think Grike’s heart desire is having a family. I think of this because Hester said that out of Grikes collection his favorite were the women and children, and I think the reason he sold his collection to find Hester was because Hester was the closest thing of having a family to him.

1. I think that's quite wrong because he has no right to kill people but it is job but i think it is not worth it. In my opinion that's the worst job to ever had because only if you had a bad life you would want to kill people for his job!
